Everyone has stories. Everyone has gone through “stuff” My stories are no different than a lot of people’s, except for one thing….there is a whole heck of a lot of them. I often wonder how I survived a lot of what I’ve gone through and what I have come to realize is that Life Stops for No One. No matter how many times you get knocked down, the only life lesson I can teach you is to get back up. GET UP! So take my stories with a grain of salt, there will be heartache, there will be heart break, but there is always laughter. To laugh at one’s experiences, to laugh at yourself, to change your mind set to think that instead of “Why Me?” how about “Why Not Me?”

So get off balanced, trip, fall down, occasionally get brought to your knees, but as you will see through my trials and tribulations, through my never ending quest of Long Lasting relationships, the only option is to always keep going. It has taken me over twenty years of catastrophic failures to see that they have molded me, they have shaped me, they have aided in creating the woman I am today. And although I’m still learning, still growing, still falling down here and there, life has treated me well. Maybe not gently, maybe not with kid gloves, maybe not even kindly at times, but well. Through my journey, and that’s really what it has been, a journey. Like back packing my way through life.

I used to see myself as the side kick, the supporting actress in my own life, now, I see nothing less than Academy Award for Leading Lady. I see nothing less then the main character, the Lead. As Arthur Abbott said in The Holiday;

“In the movies, we have leading ladies and we have the best friend. You, I can tell, are a leading lady, but for some reason, you’re behaving like the best friend”

No more. So start acting like the person you know you can be. Don’t be your own side kick. I hope you enjoy my quips, my take on love, marriage, romance, relationships of all kinds. And hopefully we have some fun along the way delving deep into my “stuff”.
